TOFEL In order to study in abroad the students need to take this exam this exam basically test the proficiency of English knowledge of students those who are non native of English, i.e., whose mother tongue is not English.



Most of the foreign university and government consider the mark secured in this exam as mandatory criteria for getting admission in their college.

Score card validation:-The exam is organised by Educational Testing Services (ETS) and the mark obtained by this exam is valid for 2 years.

Examination mode:-Candidate can take exam either online mode or paper based test.

How to apply:-Eligible and interested candidate can apply via online mode,Candidate required to registration on official website of TOFEL.

Exam pattern and exam scheme for TOFEL 2013:-
The duration of the test is 180 minutes.

This test is divided into various sections and their duration is listed below:

Section 1- Reading skill (duration is 60-80 minutes),

Section 2 – listening skill (duration is 60-30 minutes),

Section 3 – speaking skill (duration is 20 minutes),

Section 4 – writing skill (duration is 50 minutes).

*The section 1 consists of 3-4 passages.

Each passage contains nearly 12-14 questions.

The section 2 consists of 6-9 passages.

Each passage contains nearly 5-6 questions.

The section 3 consists 6 task and 6 questions.

The section 4 consists of 2 tasks and 2 questions.
