Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission(TNPSC) has issued a recruitment notification for filling up 51 Assistant Director of Statistics,eligible and intersted candidate can apply online application before on 30 january 2013.

Age limit:-Candidate age should be between 18-30 years and no maximum age limit for reserved category candidate.

Pay band:-Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

Educational Qualification:-Master’s degree in Economics / Operations Research / Computer Applications / Computer 
Science / Mathematics / Mathematical Economics / 
Econometrics and Statistics as ancillary / allied subject. 

Selection Process:-Candidate selected bisis on written test and personla interview.

Application fee:-1.Rs.175/- (Rupees one hundred and Seventy five only) be paid. (i.e. Cost of 
Application Rs. 50/- + Examination fee Rs.125/-)  for Unreserved category candidate.
2.Reserved category candidate need to pay Rs. 50/-
