Maharashtra TET 2013: Government of Maharashtra will conduct Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (MHTET) 2013 also known as Maharashtra TET. Maharashtra TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary Class I-V and upper primary Class VI-VIII schools in the state of Maharashtra. . TET is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates to be considered for teacher jobs in schools run by the government and private managements.
Maharashtra TET will conduct two papers:
1.Paper I will be for the people who are interested to be a teacher for classes I to V.
2.Paper II will be for the people who are interested to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
MHTET 2013 Paper I:
Duration of Exam- one and a half hours
MHTET 2013 Paper:
1. Child Development and Pedagogy
2. Language I
3. Language II
4. Mathematics
5. Environmental Studies
In each section there will be have 30 question and each qustion have one marks so total marks 30 marks
MHTET 2013 Paper II Duration of Exam- one and a half hours
MHTET 2013 Paper I will consists of the following sections
1. Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory)
2. Language I (compulsory)
3. Language II (compulsory)
4. a) For Mathematics and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science
b) For Social Studies/Social Science teacher: Social Science
c) For any other teacher: either (a) or (b)
In first 3 sections there will 30 MCQ’s in each section for 30 marks and in 4th Section for a and b part there will be 60 MCQ’s each for 60 marks
